Taking pictures is only the beginning.

If you draw, paint, sketch (or wish you could) -- or know someone who does (or wishes they did) -- or want to do some incredibly creative things with your digital or scanned photos then you *definitely* want to come to the Corel Painter presentation! Bring an art teacher from your school, bring your kids, nieces, nephews (grand kids?) who might be interested in this sort of stuff.

Learn how to take your photographs to a new artistic level with Corel Painter™ IX!

Discover how Corel Painter™ IX external website link can help you transform your photographs into paintings that can be printed on beautiful canvas. Painter IX is the only digital imaging software that gives you the power of over 800 natural media brushes by default— without relying solely on 'canned' filters or scripts.

This presentation will focus on a variety of natural media techniques and shortcuts for hand painting your photographs. You will learn how to blend photo subjects into beautiful painted backgrounds, hand paint hair, skin & fur to reflect photo realism, and how to quickly create sketches and loose paintings that reflect a more artistic attitude.

The end result will be a better understanding of Painters capabilities and an insight into the meshing of the natural media world with the digital.
